The GDevelop Game Jam #3 Is Here!

The time has come once more! Another GDevelop Game Jam is upon us, and we bring exciting new things for you all. Welcome to The GDevelop Game Jam #3, sponsored in part by Zorin, featuring guest judge Nathalie Lawhead!

The GDevelop Game Jam #3 will run from January 27th to February 5th on this jam page!

That is right! Our third BIG game jam is here, following the GDevelop Game Jam and GDevelop Game Jam #2, as well as smaller weekend and example jams held during 2022. Last year, over 600 games were made by nearly 3000 people during GDevelop Game Jams. And we hope to see you in this one, too!

🧑‍⚖️Welcome our Guest Judge: Nathalie Lawhead!🧑‍⚖️

We're also incredibly proud to welcome Nathalie Lawhead as guest judge for this event. Nathalie Lawhead is a Webby award winning, independent net artist and video game designer, whose work is in the video game exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art.

🏆Prizes🏆

The 10 games with the highest overall scores will be declared Community Winners. All developers involved in creating these games will receive a 6-Month GDevelop Gold membership, a special role on the GDevelop Discord server, and the opportunity to be considered for the Judges’ Awards.

Judges' Awards winners can win cash and credit towards the GDevelop Goodies Store. The first place judges' pick will also receive a prize from Zorin, who are helping to sponsor this jam.

The Judges’ Awards are as follows:

1st Place:
-$100 USD, $50 goodies store credit.
-A copy of Zorin OS Pro.
-Feature on Poki (including $500 [UA budget]) + Poki swag.

2nd Place:
-$50 + $50 USD goodies store credit
-Feature on Poki (including $250 [UA budget]) + Poki swag.

3rd Place:
-$50 USD goodies store credit
-Poki goodie bag + 1 entry ticket to a gaming event in 2023.

4th Place:
-$30 USD goodies store credit

5th place prize:
-$30 USD goodies store credit

We'll look at the community's most voted games to decide the winner - though if there is a hidden gem in the rest, we might pick it to be in our winner list!

Finally, The Nathalie Lawhead Award recepient will be chosen by our guest judge and will receive a 6-month GDevelop Gold subscription as well as $40 of in-store credit at our goodies store.
