That is right! Another huge game jam is upon us, following the GDevelop Game Jam , GDevelop Game Jam #2, and GDevelop Game Jam #3, as well as GDevelop Game Jam #4, GDevelop BIG Game Jam #5 , GDevelop BIG Game Jam #6! and the latest (and biggest-ever) GDevelop BIG Game Jam #7!

This is the one of the biggest events we've ever held! In partnership with CrazyGames, Aseprite and Esoteric Software, we're giving away up to €2300 in prizes! (Visit the jam page to see the distribution)

There have also been smaller weekend & example jams held during 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025! Over 2500 games have now been made by more than 10,000 people during GDevelop Game Jams, these games are playable on various web gaming platforms, such as gd.games . And we hope to see you in one of the next game jams!

The GDevelop BIG Game Jam #8 will take place from November 7th to 16th. As always, it's an event open to anyone anywhere in the world, and teams are encouraged!

Aseprite is a pixel art and animation software used for creating and editing pixel-based images and animations.

Spine is a 2D animation software primarily used to create skeletal animations for video games.
