Today we talk to Gerardo Garcia, President of NETZEN, a consulting and automation company for Direct Selling companies. NETZEN have developed an amazing and successful multilevel marketing training and management app, which includes everything from onboarding to payments and split commissions. Everything with GDevelop! So, without further ado, let's hear from Gerardo!

We started at the end of 2021, it has been more than 3 years and very happy to use GDevelop.
In our Direct Sales and Multilevel business, we need to maintain the focus of the people, as well as the continuous training, from personal training as well as the development of leadership and sales skills.
It is difficult to maintain the above with bland platforms, we need to gamify, change the user experience to an easy to understand environment, with social and immersive elements.
This is exactly what a game provides. However, its construction was not easy, it required a lot of programming, and that is where our research began.
Fortunately we stumbled upon GDevelop, after thousands of hours of programming in GDevelop we have realized that our choice was the right one. We have even pushed GDevelop beyond its limits as we have managed to make APP's and stores under this platform.
Gamification is key to keeping employee engagement high.
Gamification elements, such as rewards and achievements, keep users coming back more frequently. Progression encourages continued use of the platform.
Friendly competition motivates users to improve. On the other hand, rewards generate satisfaction and loyalty.
In our educational or training platforms, gamification reinforces knowledge acquisition through challenges and interactive dynamics, reducing traditional learning fatigue and increasing information retention.
It makes tedious tasks more entertaining by providing immediate feedback, which enhances the sense of progress and achievement.
Users can interact more with each other, creating a sense of belonging within the platform.
The NETZEN app's metaverse gamifies the sales process and makes it interactive.
Choose a good payment platform. GDevelop does not have native integration with payment processors (as far as I know), so you will need an external API. A good idea is to implement your payments with JavaScript (via GDevelop events).
Handle security correctly: Never store API keys in the client, Verify payment before releasing the service.
If you need to split revenue among several users, make use of platforms like Stripe or PayPal as you can send payments to different accounts.
In my opinion, if you want to monetize a development, you should not make it general, you have to focus on a particular company and detect their needs, in this way your solution will be successful and the adoption of it will be total.
When you go from making games as a hobby to thinking about commercial viability, it changes the mentality in several aspects:

The future should clearly be through digitalization and social commerce, based on a personalized experience and community integration.
Companies will have to expand their vision from the distributor to the end customer.
To achieve this, gamification plays a key role, as it allows to break barriers by being a friendly and fun interface.
